🇬🇧 I never thought football would get under my skin — until I photographed FC Olympia Christnach-Waldbillig’s dramatic promotion match in Diekirch. What started as a sports photography assignment quickly turned into an unforgettable evening of tension, emotion, black-and-yellow smoke, penalty shootout madness and pure local football joy.

🇫🇷 Je ne pensais pas que le football me toucherait autant — jusqu’à ce que je photographie le match de barrage du FC Olympia Christnach-Waldbillig à Diekirch. Ce qui avait commencé comme une mission de photographie sportive est devenu une soirée inoubliable, entre tension, émotions, fumigènes jaunes et noirs, tirs au but et joie pure du football local.

🇩🇪 Ich hätte nie gedacht, dass mich Fußball einmal so packen würde — bis ich den Barragëmatch des FC Olympia Christnach-Waldbillig in Diekirch fotografierte. Aus einem Sportfotografie-Auftrag wurde ein unvergesslicher Abend voller Spannung, Emotionen, gelb-schwarzem Rauch, Elfmeterschießen und purer lokaler Fußballfreude.
