City Trips

Capture authentic moments without stress, overplanning, or sacrificing the joy of the journey.

“Oh no!”, generally followed by one of these:
• “…it’s raining!”
• “…there are too many tourists!”
• “…I wish I had packed another lens… or another camera!”
• “…my significant other is getting impatient!”

And finally: “I should have done this differently…” once you’re back home.

These moments don’t happen by accident. More often than not, they are the result of mismatched expectations, overplanning—or not planning at all—and a touch of FOMO creeping in.

But what if you could approach your city trip differently?
What if the very things you usually see as obstacles became part of the story instead?

During this workshop, you’ll learn how to:
• embrace bad weather and nighttime as creative opportunities rather than limitations.
• navigate busy locations and still capture meaningful, personal images.
• prepare your trip with intention—based on your goals and who you’re traveling with (what I call “The Big Six”).
• set realistic expectations that allow you to stay present and actually enjoy the experience.

Because in the end, it’s not about ticking off landmarks or chasing the “perfect shot.”
It’s about coming back with images that feel like your trip—honest, personal, and full of story.

No two city trips are ever the same.
This workshop will help you make the most of each one—so you return with photographs you truly love, without ever losing sight of why you went in the first place.
